Kittatinny Valley State Park


More than 5,600 acres of glacial lakes, limestone outcroppings, fantastic scenery, a restored 19th-century village, former railroads turned into trails, and even a small airport. Lake Aeroflex (at 110 feet deep, the deepest glacial lake in New Jersey) and Gardner’s Pond form part of the headwaters of the Pequest River and are excellent for fishing and boating. Share the park with a variety of wildlife such as whitetail deer, wild turkey, a variety of songbirds, beaver, muskrats, and squirrels.

Hunting, hiking, mountain biking, birding, and horseback riding are popular activities. The four lakes offer fishing, boating, and kayaking opportunities. Over 100 nature programs, including geocaching, weekend hikes and bike trips, Junior Naturalist programs, and live animal shows, are offered year-round.

Liberty Farm's Sussex County Sunflower Maze


Fun for the whole family.  Visit one of the largest sunflower mazes on the East coast. Make sure to bring your camera to photograph the over 1.5 million flowers. Liberty Farm's has been planting sunflowers for over 10 years.
